It’s always an honour and a privilege to be asked to paint someone so intensely loved. A person who continues to remain an integral part of the lives they have sadly left behind.
It can be a challenge for me as an artist but it’s also extremely rewarding because I know first-hand how much comfort and joy it can bring.
Commissioning a posthumous portrait can be a very emotional experience but my clients have found great solace in a meaningful work of art that commemorates someone they continue to treasure. When you are ready, I’d love to do the same for you.
